Installing IL-2

Is there such thing as an install walkthrough from 4.07-UP3.0RC4? An old buddy is looking to get back in the game but I do not have the option to walk him through the whole thing. He is out of town working and traveling. He needs a complete walkthrough from factory game to the present mod pack. I have a bunch of partials but nothing complete. Simpler is better for this guy. thanks. please post up anything that may help. thanks

1)easiest thing first... install the game via the cd ..... (if its d2d there may be another step in there I dunno about )

2)then download and run the mega patch from http://www.mission4today.com/index.php? ... ls&id=4088 which brings her all up to 4.10.1

3)go to http://ultrapack.il2war.com/index.php download UPrc3.0 ( link found in marquee at top of page )

4)same page , same marquee click the link for rc4 update

run all those you should be good to go

And if your buddy wants to fly in SEOW copy the 4.10.0, and add HSFX5 and HSFX5.01 to that.

But yes ... make a copy of the 4.10.1 for that is the essential version which everything else loads onto .
