Dawn Patrol Rendezvous 2011

It's time once again to gather in Dayton in September at the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous. This year's event will be held 23 September 2011 thru 25 September 2011. The host hotel will once again be the Comfort Inn & Suites directly across from The National Museum of the United States Air Force. As usual, your Virtual Aces team will have a demonstration on the flight line at the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous, and a LAN party at the Comfort Inn & Suites.

We will be having dinner at the Quaker Steak & Lube on Friday, 23 September 2011, and everyone that is a guest of Virtual Aces is invited to attend the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous Banquet on Saturday, 24 September 2011. The banquet is catered right in the museum and all of the attractions are functioning for the use of the guests. Those who have been in attendance in previous years can tell you that the banquet is the highlight of the weekend.

However, this year's highlight may very well be our own 'Chip' Ball who is planning to have his replica WWI aircraft on the flight line at the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous for 2011.

I live in Xenia, just east of Beavercreek. I look forward to being there for this this year for sure. Hopefully get to meet some of you guys in the process.

What a great venue to have this at than the Museum!

I'll keep an eye on this and as it gets closer make some arraignments to attend.

I look forward to meeting you, sir. When we did the last event back in 2009 I left the planning to another member of the RB3D community and it didn't really materialize. While we were in Dayton my wife insisted that I plan the event for this year. I am starting to promote the event early, so we should have a good turn out.
