S!, I'm moving to the new house today, only problem is that I'm totally useless at putting the ends on the network cables. So I'm not sure how long I'll be off line.
Either I'll keep trying to do it until I get it right or I'l hire someone. Eventually I'll be back anyhow. If you know how to do network cable work and you're not too far from Detroit MI, PM Tiger he has my phone number, I could really use the help. Thanks!

I would suggest that you look up a local 'wiring distributor/reseller' in the yellow pages. Visit the store/warehouse and talk to one of the reps. They should be able to provide you with lots of information, wiring modules ( jacks ), and tools ( can be expensive ). They will usually have manufacturers catalogs with good information. They also carry pre-cut packaged cables of various lengthes ( 2 to 50 ft. ) and colors at much lowwer cost than the 'Best Buys', etc.
Here is a link to my cable/wiring vendor:

Check your yellow pages for a local company like this one or place an order with them.

I have also seen some areas of 'Home Depot' and 'Lowwes' with net cabling, modules, and tools. Problem with these are little to no help with the 'How to'.
I can go to my vendor for a simple cable and stay for an hour looking at all the different cables, connectors, etc. available for different applications.
"Tim the Toolman" syndrome!!

Re: Moving today
S!
I'm back! Figured out what I was doing wrong, the ends are 3 pieces 1st one seperates the 4 pairs and the next one holds all 8 in order. I was pushing that part too far down the wires so I wasn't getting a good crimp. So, so far I've got this PC set up and running. I've got the mac book working on the wireless. I've got 2 more PCs to get get over here and set up. My office is looking good, I've got a few more things and it'll be great.
