monitor questions

1. the other day my monitor started to flash on and off every couple seconds.. Is it toast?

2. i just got a new widescreen monitor (see #1) and need to know how to get il-2 to play on 1920x1046 or whatever that is. Will download most recent video card driver this afternoon and see if that helps.

Theres a config file in the main directory of IL2 and one of the 1st lines is the screen size. just change it there to your new size and it should work.

Note that after you change the screen to your desired size using the confi.ini, DO NOT use the ingame control panels to check the screen size. If you do so, it will revert to the default size.
