Oh I knew I used shift one time before in one of those combinations. Well any way I say that way because I thought George had an external hard Drive. Also I had a path called "D:\Old Program Files\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe" That's somewhat more complicated.Big_Fred wrote:That is way cool. Ctrl-shift-click was what I had been using to same effect. Right click on the 'connect' button at hyperlobby connect screen and you can select the directory to point to for game to be used. I have a 1.1 and a 1.2 directory. I use the right click and then change the 1 to a 2 or vice versa depending on version I need. I also have a version of 1.1 and 1.2 UI switchers shortcut on my desktop to switch between 408 and 409.George Formby wrote:S~Razgriz_37 wrote:Doing the right click on the connect button hyperlobby, yes?Derring wrote:SNAFU
then just remove the '-????' from the folder name
to run the version of the game from 'Hyperlobby'
As to which one to run, and when.
Ask everyone else. That's what I do.![]()

And just to add to the fun...Ground Zero SEOW will be moving soon to HSFX 4.0. I believe they are talking about doing so when the English Channel campaign resets.

~S~
when you are trying 6 dof on HSFX ....
make sure you have toggled the gunsight toggled out to the farthest view .
In the JSGME switcher in HSFX have the history mod on first (top line) then the 6 dof.
( honestly don't know if that is an issue but it is like that on mine and it works nicely )
Thats all I can think of at them moment but hope it helps .

Unfortunately, I have decided to just stick with HSFX 4.0 and beyond. I realize that will limit my ability to join other DF servers and campaigns, but I just don't have time for it all right now and I like HSFX the best of all the available mod packages. Plus, I am an SEOW nut and HSFX is the way to go for that.

I will keep multiple installations going as I do enjoy some other activities - but for anything I am working on, I would prefer HSFX 4.0 as well. It seems to be heads and shoulders above other MOD systems.Storm wrote:Unfortunately, I have decided to just stick with HSFX 4.0 and beyond. I just need to limit myself to staying up so darn late everynight just about...
Work sux bad enough but trying to deal with it when your tired is not so fun....

My job got to be too damned easy, so I thought I would try it on 3 hours of sleep a night. It's a lot more interesting now.YOKE wrote:Work sux bad enough but trying to deal with it when your tired is not so fun....
