..will be hosted at
the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, from September 23, 2011, through
September 25, 2011, to coincide with this year's Dawn Patrol Rendezvous. No one will
get castor oil in their faces, or actually get shot down, but everyone who participates
will experience many aspects of flying the old warbirds of World War I in combat
situations. Come to Aces Over Wright Field and you will experience what aerial combat might have been like during the Great
War.
Veteran pilots from Virtual
Aces will be on hand providing any level of assistance necessary to get you in
the air and fighting. You will stalk your enemies and decide when to attack. You will
learn to wait until the precise moment, keeping your hands steady and making your bullets
hit their mark in order to survive. During World War I, the life expectancy of a pilot in
combat was just 17 hours. Once you have experienced Aces Over Wright Field
you will understand why.
