Calibration

Unread post by Redhornet »

So I was trying to re-calibrate my CH Pro Throttle and didn't get any better results. Since I've had it when the throttle is all the way back to the "0" position it still shows anywhere between 12% to 30% throttle in IL2, when all the way forward it will go to as much as 106% but no higher. I tried calibrating using the Windows XP Game Controllers window in the Control Panel, but to no avail. I don't use the CH mapping/programming program, I use the controls section of IL2. I found the CH program to be cumbersome and kinda unnecessary because you can program/assign everything in the game. I tried using the in-game calibration and that didn't work either. I'm running Windows XP SP3, latest IL2 4.10.1, etc. so what else could I do to get the throttle to see the true zero position and true 100 position?

All suggestions welcome.

Yeah, Sorry RedHornet, I don't know what you need to do or I'd have said something.

Decker and Trouble4U, I finally realized that I should go to the CH Forums, duh! I did and got a reply from Ghost overthere and his suggestion worked great. Sorry to be such a poopy-pants earlier, I appreciate your effort, seriously I do.
