Award of the Meritorious Service Medal, =AVG=Space

Lt. Colonel Space has distinguished himself by outstanding meritorious achievement and service to his squadron, and to the group. Lt. Colonel Space served as Theater Commander for Forgotten Skies, and Lt. Colonel Space's remarkable effort kept all =AVG= members informed and up to date on Forgotten Skies Operations. Lt. Colonel Space supported operations in the USL, reporting for duty nearly every match, and Lt. Colonel Space holds the distinction of being the only pilot in the entire United Squadron League competition to sink the carrier in week 3 of the 2010 event. Lt. Colonel Space is also a member of Training Command and has contributed to the overall success of the program. In addition, Lt. Colonel Space continues to command the 2nd Pursuit Squadron, leading by setting an impeccable example, and bringing renown to the Panda Bears and to the =AVG=.

For outstanding achievement and meritorious service to his squadron and to his group, Lt. Colonel Space is hereby awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
