Rise Of Flight

Unread post by Redhornet »

Just out of curiosity, is RoF still fairly popular? Is there a large(ish) online community? Is there a DVD compilation for sale that has all the updates, planes, etc., etc?

I heard a lot about RoF last summer/fall then all the buzz kinda dropped off on the forums. Just curious.

It is still growing in popularity and number of on-line squadrons.

You can buy a DVD of the base game, but you have to buy all of the addtional planes seperately (approx $7 each). Base game comes with 4-6 planes.

I know Joint Ops just started a seperate flight school for ROF.

I have it, Its pretty cool.

I think the add-on planes are worth the price.

Flight model is excellent, Damage model is fair. Graphics are amazing.

IL-2 and the AVG take up all of my computer time so I've not really messed with it in at least a year.
