4.09-4.10/4.101 Issues

After installing 4.10/4.101 I noticed I lost several planes or 4.10 doesnt recognize them, also lost a ton of FMB maps. The Coop missions I made in 4.09 wont work in 4.10/101. After loading 4.09 I got the Spit and Fw190 splash screen after 4.10 it went back to the 4.07 version splash screen. Any ideas?

There are actually 2 different ways to handle 4.10, and anyone can feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

The first is a stand alone patch that takes your current game to 4.10 lock, stock and barrel. I did this one first thinking it was the way to go, only to find that it totally craps the game for anything other than 4.10 only.

The other way is to run the update/repair prog that comes with the UP installer, which updates the base files and only adds a 00_4.10m mod to the JSGME, which appears to leave the game compatible with the 4.09 version.

Your mileage may vary.

Right now I would say the UP updater is the only way to go.

That way you can fly 4.09 servers and 4.09/UP servers.

You should get the 4.101 patch through the UP Updater as well

Got the update through UP for 4.101, its when I loaded up 410 I noticed the change, I blew it off but if I NEED to fix it Id like to know how. I ran the Update/restore several times to try and fix it. As long as 409 works im good, 410 took out Spits I like so I dont want it anyway.
