Burma Cup II
ALL RACES ARE VERSION Ultra Pack 2.01 with Zuti 1.13 and 6 DOF Tracker Mods.
The Burma Cup Race Series will include 4 race tracks and be conducted over a 4 week period from the 26th of July to Aug. 22rd.
Each week will feature a new track.
Each race track will be briefed and outlined in its own =AVG= Public Forum thread the Sunday evening before.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
Race heats will be conducted on………………..
Wednesday; 8:00PM eastern time.
Friday; 8:00PM eastern time
Sunday; 3:00PM and 8:00PM eastern time.
TeamSpeak2 Server IP: 66.225.104.67:8767 password flyboys
PRACTICE DOGFIGHT SERVER: W~o~W; BURMA CUP II
HyperLobby, X-Fire or direct IP: 66.225.104.67:21000
The Wings~of~War server will host each weeks race track as a practice server. It will be set up as a Dogfight server so practice participants may enter and practice whenever they wish during the week. The Wings~of~War practice server will load the next week’s track late Sunday evening.
RACE HEAT COOP SERVER: BURMA CUP II
HyperLobby, X-Fire or direct IP: 173.49.125.128:21000
The entire series will be hosted, recorded and scored off the same computer.
Races will be divided up into race heats.
Each official “timed” race heat will be run as a Co-op mission and video recorded.
Each participant will have his own recorded time from start line to finish line from the video recording.
Only 5 participants and 12 spectators are allowed in each race heat.
RULES:
Each participant is allowed only 1 opportunity at an official “timed” run per race week.
End race positions/results of the participants will be determined by lowest times.
No time will be recorded for a participant if they crash during the race.
No time will be recorded for a participant if they leave the course during the race.
You must stay within the “general confines” of the course, i.e. stay below the tops of the smoke stacks.
Races will be restarted if there are any collisions or damage to any of the participants before the last participant crosses the start line.
Any recorded times or position results that are “too close to call” will be settled by a P-40 Drag Race across the English Channel before the end of the next week.
At the end of the Burma Cup race series, total points will be calculated to determine the overall results.
POSITION / POINTS:
“Official” recorded times will be posted within 24 hours after each heat.
Overall times, positions and points for the week will be announced on Monday nights.
1st. 12 points
2nd. 10 points
3rd. 9 points
4th. 8 points
5th. 7 points
6th. 6 points
7th. 5 points
8th. 4 points
9th. 3 points
10th. 2 points
All remaining participants that finish the race will receive 1 point.
If anyone here can’t make any of the scheduled times, drop me a PM. I’ll work with you the best I can to give you an opportunity to record a time.
At any time during the week you want to see the Coop mission. Find me online and I’ll be happy to run it for you. This way you can at least see the Coop air-start point and position. Also just to get a feel for the entire race track.
I’m thinking the persons who are able to fly and finish all 4 tracks will be in the top positions.

I've been waiting for Warren to answer, but I'll pipe up. I'm not sure that the entire plane set for this event has been worked out yet. What I can tell you is that we will all fly the same plane for the race, and it varies depending on the track.

Re: Burma Cup II
Tiger is correct, there will only be 1 plane to select for each race. These tracks are "based" off of real race tracks from around the world. Palau is Monte Carlo, Iwo Jima is Suzuka, I forget the two others, maybe Brooklyn and or Sears. I lost all those references when hard drive shit the bed.
Still refining these a bit more and adjusting things for UltraPack but the plane set should be..............
P-47D-10
P-51D-20NA
A6M5a
P-40e
A lot of testing to be done before this goes live so if you see me online or the server online jump in and have a look around.
Senyu, all you have to do is show up at or before race time and if you cant make any of those times.... just get with me and we'll work out something during the week. With any of the events we do, we always try to remain flexible enough so all can join that wish too.
More updates to follow, so stay tuned.
Someone need to knock Space down a peg or 2. Lucky I cant participate.
