S~ Hey, sorry if I may be posting in the wrong place, but I am extremly new to online play. I have a question though. I have upgraded to 4.08m, all was well, went and tryed to install the 4.09beta, and my game would only load to 5% then CRASH,BOOM,BAM!! Can someone please teach me the ways of the IL2 1946 "force"??? If you are wondering why I am such a newbie, and soooo old, read my profile, it will explain alot.

Welcome George,

Once you have the game patched to 4.08, use the AAA installer and it will give you the various options.

Hop on our TS channel and we can try to talk you through all the setup and such. There should be some of us there at most hours for the next week as we are now in a weeklong 24/7 campaign

Salute

If your game crashes at 5% then you must start over with fresh install

1.Install IL2 1946
2. Patch it to 4.08M
3. Download the Mod patch V1.1 follow the instruction that comes with it
4. download Hyperlobby
5.login and start playing

S~ all!!! Figured it out, I didn't have 4.08 installed right after all!! Anyways, We will be leaving for the states in a few weeks for good, retirment and all. So as soon as I get the family settled in, and my hardware hooked up I will look foward to getting to know you guys.
