If you have a dog, PLEASE do not have too long a leash on him when you put him in the back of the truck. Cait and I just had to have someone's dog put down for a broken back, crushed leg and numerous other injuries from just that. Apparently he went or got tossed over the side and the leash got caught under the tire and snapped, at better than 45 mph. Owner is probably just now realizing what happened to their little guy. I hope they lose sleep over it, for a long time.

Very sad. I also refuse to put a dog in the back of a truck, not only for that reason but if something happens the dog is defenseless back there. So I'M DEAD AGAINST IT MYSELF.

That is so sad.

I don't have a dog, but when I did I never put her in the back of the truck, she rode in the cab only.

+1000! Don't put your dog in the back of a truck!
