Is that all the time or does it pop on and off as the game is played ?
If a constant thing look at your conf file and check your " Hardwareshaders=x" line
if it is a "0" set it to "1"
I have seen this with square blocks for bushes and know this switch worked for them... maybe clouds too ?

Yes Yoke It was worst the first time, the side panels of the plane was the propellers and there were black blocks that I guess was a smoking plane, oh it was terrible looking just thinking about it makes my skin crawl. I'll give that a shot and see if that works out, perhaps it may also have something to do with RAM. Ah who am I kidding I need a new computer, I know I know...

I had similar issues back before HSFX and UP when I would try to load some mods individually. Do you have any stand alone mods anywhere in the install you were using.
Did it only affect the P39?
