BOB Chain Home Radar Systems, what if they are destroyed?

Three questions concerning what if England's Chain Home Radar Systems are destroyed:

(A) Will the map icons be disabled?
(B) Will points be given?
(C) Will something show on the screen indicating a certain radar facility has been destroyed/damaged ?

Sorry for not raising these questions sooner.

S!~ Gustaf,

No problem on the timing. I have been trying to determine exactly that. So far from testing it appears that you do not get a message when you destroy the Chain Home stations, nor do you get points. However, it is my understanding that the system would not function without the radar stations. I had to place an object at each Chain Home location for the radar system to work. So, it stands to reason that the system wouldn't work if they were destroyed. One thing I do know for certain is that the aircraft icons will still appear even if all radar stations are destroyed. The other thing to note is that the ships are also radar.

Does this mean everyone will still see their own icon, but the reds will lose the ability to see blue?

Thanks for the quick comeback, Tiger. I'll pass this info to the squad.

So does that mean if we take out the radar in the chain does the entire array go down or does this only weaken the array?
