My wife complained that I spend too much time on the computer once. I grabbed the car keys and headed for the door. She said "Where are you going?" I said "I'm going to the bar to get drunk like all of my friends do." She decided that, although I probably do spend too much time on the computer, I am home where she knows I am safe and not chasing loose women. Problem solved.

S! Sir!
I received the G940 system last Christmas, and have been using it ever since. I LOVE it! The force feedback will simulate stiffening flight controls from compressibility. So, the faster you go in a dive, the harder it will be to pull the stick back to recover. Each component is fairly large; both the throttle quad and the stick, combined, take up, I would say, just over a square foot of space; the pedals about the same. A nice feature on the pedals is that they have these spiked panels that can be rotated down to grip carpeting so the pedals won't slide (works very well too). The pedal tension is adjustable, as is the throttle quad tension. The throttle unit and pedals plug into the stick, and only the stick plugs into your USB port. There is a 120v cord on the stick; my guess is it's for the FFB motors.
The biggest gripe I have about the setup is the trim controls on the stick base; there are no detents for center, so you have to visually make sure of the positioning.
Oh, almost forgot! The throttles can be used either as one, or split for multi-engine operation (works well in LOMAC).
That's about all I can think of at the moment. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
