Have you updated to Ultra Pack 2.01? It has an update & restore feature that will be useful. Here's a link for you;

goto your IL-2 main folder
look for UPDATE folder open that
you will find a 3 cube icon called UPUPDATE or something like that

run the program and tell it what version you have just installed when asked

It is a good program sorts alot of issues out.
