Do you believe this would be useful for this game?

≈S! All!

This caught my eye and I was wondering could a Multi Functional Display be useful in this Flight Sim, perhaps not due to it's not historically accurate that WWII aircraft had this however...

It's says
"Forget about your keyboard and take control with real flight instruments for even greater realism"
so would something like this help with a better layout of controls or if not quicker to access them?

Check it out tell me what you think. I'm scratching my head on it but it seems like something...

Think those are for overlaying on small monitors for the super geeky sim cockpit types.

Think about getting a gaming keyboard and or a USB keypad or 2. I use a Saitek Cyborg keyboard with a cheapo USB keypad from WallyWorld. All the buttons in the world and then some for this game.

My father in law has 3 keyboads for his MS Flight Sim, all panelled out with labels.

So I guess this would just make it look cool other than actually serving a purpose, lol.

the only way to make it look cool is if you use it around a monitor set up to be a display. Button titles or assignments are listed in the display like this.

otherwise it just square keypad with a chessy cardboard picture center.

Ah I see, damn I would need a super cockpit then I'm no where near that, I guess the gaming keyboard is my best Option. Why did I even bother looking at that I'm still on a laptop, lol!

This would be ideal for Falcon 4. Too bad it wasn't available 10 years ago.

One thing I have found to be useful is the Saitek Yoke and Throttle. I use X-52 flight stick for controls and the the Yoke Throttle levers for trim adjustments.

Ooooh this is nice, thanks but I'm a looong way from establishing a decent cockpit. I just kept my eyes one the Thrustmaster website.
Just to see what new stuff they have.

Thats what my father in law has, dont count this out Raz. It all actuuality, it is very cheap. Youu only need to buy a keyboard, converting it to a "panel" set up would be chaeper than the keyboard itself, if not free.
This would give you all the extra buttons you would ever need too.

When I get my good system running, I'll be sure to get one of these apart of my "new cockpit" but like I said, I a long way from it. You guys on the other hand have already advanced cockpits.
