To find the volume of a cylinder, you multiply the surface area of the end, which is 3.14 X radius squared. Lets call the radius "z". Then we multiply that by the height of the cylinder. Let's call the height "a".

Now, the cylinder we want the volume of is a pizza. The formula to get the volume of the pizza is pi X z X z X a ;)

Now why in the name of Eratosthenes would someone use 'z' for a radius? You are going to put it in a square box anyway! Oh ok... I get it... :geek:

No. This is the type of thing I think of on my lunch break. We've been so busy at work that I didn't get it posted until 4 minutes to quitting time. ;)
