I'm a little confused.

Not that it's real hard to confuse me, but I digress.

My question is, what is the standard list of tasks for new members? I have downloaded the training manual and flown my first practice mission with the group ( which ended with me flying myself into the drink...but anyway.) So what else should new members be doing to hone their skills?

Thanks for the input,
Leatherpuke

Practice practice practice. I was told to set up a quick mission builder to practice. I have done so and plan to practice till my butt is sore from sitting in my office chair.

In 2nd Pursuit we urge all to attend our Wednesday practice for 1 hour before the =AVG= practice. We are also looking at instituting a Saturday afternoon session because there are some that cannot make Wednesday evening. We will get you up to snuff on AVG and 2nd Pursuit communications, take-off procedures, formations, attacks, etc before long, as well as help with general flight instruction.

Also feel free to ask anyone you find on teamspeak if you have any questions or want on the spot training. Most 2nd Pursuit pilots will give you training in whatever you like if they are on.

And to Space's comments...I will also add that you can practice with any of us.

If you are wanting to work on something in particular and need some help or have questions? Ask away! If I am online I will certainly help you out...and we have the ability to swap to the Caen map to practice the pattern/takeoff/landing/formation flying, we can swap to an AI scenario and shoot them up using wingman tactics, we can swap to a map with bombing runs set up and practice level bombing or JABO.

So definitely do not hesitate to ask - and if I catch you before you catch me...will holler.
