Server kicks too early after death?

I have encountered an issue where, after a player has been killed but the plane has not been critically damaged, the plane will continue to fly for several seconds, and then will be removed when the player is kicked from the server. No kill confirmation message appears in these cases. Could someone look into this?

S!~ Sir,
I believe that you have assessed the situation correctly, but there is no way that I know of to set any type of kick delay. I wish I could say that I am an expert at FBD2, but I am not. To this point I have viewed these issues as similar in nature to confirmed vs. unconfirmed kills in real life. However, I will ask the folks at greatergreen.com if this is a known issue, and whether there is a solutuion.

~S~ Sir,
Roger that, I do hope players will at least be aware of this so misunderstandings may be avoided. I have been on both ends of the situation this week: I was frustrated with one opponent thinking that he had disconnected after I had crippled his plane, but then when the same thing happened to me I realized what had happened. My opponent in that instance was less than thrilled with me when I returned, until I explained the situation. It certainly looks bad on the part of the killed pilot.

S! Schwack,
I hope I was not rude this morning- that was certainly not my intention! More just making sure the rules are known since we have new groups and individuals joining in about every campaign of the Wings of War series.
Glad to see you in there and having fun more than worrying about any stat.

Heck, I don't even know where to find the stats come to think of it.

~S~ Space,
No, you weren't at all rude, but since I did know I am not supposed to disconnect while under fire, and I thought that may be what it looked like I had done, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of what had happened.
