could you explain this for me?
I had, to my recollection, about 5 aircraft kills, now, i died on 1, bailed out on another other, I dont remeber every sortie, as i did lots of flying in b5n's, never got a ship to sink though :*(
Just a little suprised, or is this a diffrent scoring system than the game uses?
sorry if this seems whiny, confusion doesnt show through the computer screen :(

the score only counts if you make it back...now I will say I did "Shoot down" T4U and respawned at my base which gave me 100 pts at the time.

I had 6 kills only 1 counted

I had 1 ship torpedoed but I piled up on landing :( so no joy for that one..

And wasn't that nice of me to give you that kill Benge? It isn't everyday that someone will take the time to land in front of you so can tear the sheet of the them is it?

plus some of those friendly kills by spawning in at the wrong time can be very costly, -300 for someone.

S!~ All,

Attached is a spreadsheet with the scores for what little campaign we did have. I can't wait for next week.

I had 430?? Geez, thought I had less, but now seems like I should've had more if B17's are 400 points each. I killed one F4F, then got flamed but bailed successfully afterwards within friendly territory.. then had a mid-air with one at our air-start which killed both of us so no points there, and I didn't sink a ship even though I dropped my torp well within flak-festival range, and MG range.. to the point that zooming in to full distance the ship took up half the screen.. and no joy on my fish in the water.
Although I did kill a B17 and landed successfully so that likely accounts for 400 of my 430..

*shrug*

Also, what the heck is the deal with the 'player bailed out of their plane without taking damage' message on the server? This happened within the opening 8 hours of server time, after I landed on my carrier and hit refly. then a couple times after. Seems like anytime you hit refly and the server didn't bounce you that message popped up. I mentioned it to warren..

If you keep up with whats going on, you can track your score pretty easy. The Wings~of~War stats program breaks it completely down. One hint, let the page fully load before you start navigating around the page. http://www.virtualaces.net/phpBB3/stats.php

Also one of the campaign objectives is to destroy all enemy aircraft. Crashing or bailing out destroys the aircraft. - 1 aircraft for your team. ;)
