During the Wings~of~War: North Africa 1943 Campaign, =AVG=K43_8mm distinguished himself in combat many times. On numerous occasions, =AVG=K43_8mm displayed complete disregard for his own safety as he frequently harrassed both air and ground forces while outnumbered and without the prospect of reinforcements. For his tireless efforts, and conspicuous gallantry and extraordinary heroism in the face of the enemy, =AVG=K43_8mm is hereby awarded the Silver Star.
