A friend of mine loads Hyperlobby, but it says it does not find the il-2 executable.

He needs to be sure that the executable is called il2fb.exe. The best solution is probably to have him specify the path in HyperLobby (but the executable stills needs to be named il2fb.exe).

Yes make sure he doesn't confuse the shortcut with the il2fb.exe. The correct path should be as follows: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe

To refind the game path, just right click on connect.

We've done all that, and it is still giving him grief. I noticed that his 1946 folder is a good bit smaller than my original, so right now he is un-installing and going to re-install it fresh.
