You've NEVER vulched?...*COUGH* Kinda find that hard to believe.

That and it takes a LOT of skill to vulch and make it home alive. I'm currently working on this NEW attack tactic "The BOSTON-CREME VULCH"...wish me luck?

The message was for the one who needed to put there 2 cents in. Which is the reason why it didn't make sense to you. Sorry for the complaints but I tried to make a statement and then bigcat went on a rampage and set me off.Warren wrote:What is the name of this server are you referring to? I didnt answer the question cause it didnt make any sence as did most of the rest of your post, the WoW server is the only =AVG= server. I dont know of anyone who has been kicked, Im thinking you are confussing us with some other group. I get the part that you dont like vulching but the rest of your post is baffling to me.
If you wish to fly in a server that grants immunity from being killed, stick to the open dogfight servers with no vulching rules I guess. Most if not all tournies, campaign type of events that I know of allow strafing grounded aircraft. A lot of people choose not to fly in such events for many reasons, some of them is the vulching thing.
What are you suppose to do if someone spawns in at an airfield that is under a coordinated attack.......... stop the attack and just let that guy takeoff? We are here to have fun, not get into the grey areas of what rules apply when and how. At least for us, over all in the big picture it just easier to allow it.
In the end this is a war zone sir, ask for no quarter and give none in return.
And dude you are so wrong on the "we pay for it card." We have never nor will we ever do that. This WoW campaign belongs to all the pilots who fly in it, without participants............. NONE of this would be possible. They, including you, get full acknowledgment of that from us and it is greatly appreciated beyond words. Because of this we take every comment and feedback seriously but we realize that no one rule set or lack of a rule set will please everyone.
If you dont like the channel, just turn the dial. Thats just life.

I have a feeling that the Axis lost soooo many aircraft because they tried to bomb at low levels. I have been bombing Argentan at 20,000 ft and the flak is so thick you could walk on it. I get hit all the time over that airbase and the city and come back leaking fuel, holes, etc. I tried to use a P-47 and was wiped almost instantly, it would be impossible to make low level attack runs in Argentan. That is the point, to make bomb attacks from high altitudes against air bases. The game is forcing you guys to use the resources you have and now because the flak is gone, the axis guys can use 190's with bombs to kill targets and then cap. Sounds like instead of adapting to the conditions they were changed to make it easier for the players who are unable or unwilling to do adapt. BTW, I have not seen any JU-88's over 10k ft. I don't think any axis players have run high altitude bombing missions because they don't have to.Warren wrote:If there would have been more AA at the Island, that area wouldnt be playible for either side. That place lights up like the DeathStar. We took it all out with an at all cost attitudes and it nearly depleted us of our aircraft. At one point we were down to 14 aircraft and 10 pilots. We could have been whipped out in less than 1 mission considering over half of those aircraft were easy targets just sitting out in the open as static aircraft a ur air fields. Campaign over.

That's only because its all been taken out already in the first few days of the campaign. Once AAA or assets are taken out (with a few exceptions), they will not reappear again. The airbase over the island and and over the allied base to the NE were just as heavily defended, if not more so defended than the base at Argentan. The airbase on the island has very little when it comes to targets. Only a few static planes, no cars, artillery, AAA or tanks so I don't know why it needs to be playable for low level attacks. Target areas can be capped just as easily and players could still shoot down the attack aircraft, bombers and fighter escorts.
Maybe they need to change that. If you can get new planes at a base then you should be able to get replacement AAA.Smokin wrote:That's only because its all been taken out already in the first few days of the campaign. As for the 88s, you'll have your shot in a week or so to show how "it should be done" when we switch sides. But considering that the allied defenses have been disseminated within a short amount of time and the fact that you are still talking about the heavy defenses of the axis bases, goes to show that the bombing campaign of the axis side was far more successful than the allied at this point.

The current way the missions are coded and run, its not possible to re-spawn AAA.
And not to turn this into a silly pissing contest, but warren dropped 41 bombs and took out 126 train cars. That's not bad for someone who doesn't know what they are doing". Remember its all about having fun bro, hopefully you are enjoying the challenge and doing what you can with the cards you are dealt. If you think that the other side has some unfair advantage, then you'll have your chance to exploit them when we switch sides, its that simple.
