Sweet, now if Tiger setup a TS3 client, could those with TS2 connect?

To my knowledge - no. I believe they are not compatible from what I have read...you have to have the TS3 client. So far all I have seen is that it's "fancier". IF the codecs are better, awesome. But I don't care about all the fluff. I need TS to work well for voice comms - not fold my socks.

I want everyone to not focus so much on the looks and what not but primarily on the codec and voice quality, as I see that's giving people a reason to think it's not worth it when it is. So everyone is familiar with ventrilo, we've tried it, was nice in the codec however some had said that they liked Team Speak's setup way better. So Team Speak has now came out with a new client, it's still in its beta stages. Since it is, now we try it out and if it's something we don't like we tell them on the forums so when the official version is released we'll be happy.

As far as the codec goes, it surpasses ventrilo's by a great margin. Now we have our quality and our setup in our perferred VOIP client software.

Guys it's basically easy to install, of course you got new features more freedom, sure you oldtimers aren't gonna pay attention too it but you'll love it because its improved. Just like TS 2 download and install. And get, this remeber how when you uninstall TS and loose all your IPs to servers? Well I've uninstalled, wiped all my files of TS 3 clean from Program files and reinstalled and yet my IP's that were bookmarked remained. yes. Oh and I know you guys are gonna love this...

You know that obnoxious guy on your channel, well that guy can be lowered by right clicking on that player and you can lower his volume, if that guy don't get the message the CA can just mute him for everyone, I bet now he'll piped down. Yeah you know you guys love doing that hehe.
No more screaming High pitched voice from that guy I'll just lower him down and turn everyone else up.

So your gonna say "oh it's now all it's cracked up to be" but it's the newest client from our brand of VOIP. Because what have we been saying? "The codec it, sucks it sucks" and then Someone would suggest, "use Vent use vent" Screw ventrilo! Team Speak 3 out now, way better quality.


So guys c'mon, it's just better. Give it a try. At least test it on the Wings~of~War TS, Please Tiger?

I'm looking foward to checking it out myself when I get the chance. While I could give a rats ass about how people dress it up and the avatars they pick, I think if we are able to input info/stats/medals to each player on TS that it would a great thing. Can quickly scan TS for number of aces V rookies or Bombers VS fighters, and plan out a sortie accordingly.

Btw way the avatar feature is up to the Admin so I doubt he'll use that. Anyway I like anther feature on here, file transfer hehe yes, not every one uses xfire because their rather too afraid a virus is on it or that it takes up too much resource so if they want a file and their on ts 3 then we'll just send it to them through there, it's so simple!

Just like Oleg's 4.09m Official patch, Team Speak 3 has it's official update. Read in to it guys.

I wasnt able to log on. If there a password? Is it off?

The server is offline but he'll probably bring it back up for more testing. This is only for testing we are not switching to the new client, we probably won't do that until the majority of servers switch over to it which will probably be when it's out of beta. Not trusted enough to be used fully right now.
