S~ all!

I am interested in joining this campaign, and thank God my midterms end Monday! :)

I have not played before, but I was wondering if we needed anything specifically before playing: A certain type of internet connection? Can we join anytime between the posted dates? Where in HL will this game appear? (As the regular Dogfight servers, or at another location) Do I need the DCG installed before playing, or does the host take care of that? Anything else I should know before signing up?

Thanks guys, and looking forward to flying with you!

The Wings~of~War Server will go online at 0001 hours; 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, 9 November 2009 and will go offline at 0001 hours; 12:01 p.m. Eastern Standard Time the following Monday, 16 November 2009. The server will reset every two hours to keep the Wings~of~War generated mission objectives current and up to date. A two hour session will equal one campaign day. At the end of the one week period we will tally the scores to determine the victor.

Recommend DSL, Cable, Fiber Optic or just basic commercial connections.

Which is saying an all day free pass, in other words yes. ;)

This is the name of the server that will appear in hyperlobby, XFire, and I believe the all seeing eye. You can also use the server IP which is posted >>>Here<<<

The server handles the DCG, you do not need it to enter the server. ;)

NOTE!
4.09m is the Official Patch Released by Team Daidalos and UBISOFT. This is not the AAA UI Modification 4.09b1m.

You are to have your game patched to 4.09m only. AAA will release a mod to enable switching between the their mods and the official patch. (AAA_U.I._1.2.5)

Thanks :) Sorry for the stupid questions: Last time I tried an online war, I could only join at specific time slots, or I had to know someone... :)

S!~ Sir,

They are not stupid questions. They are the type of questions that one would ask if they were not familiar with the format. Most of us take these things for granted because we've been doing these for a while now.

I did receive your registration, BTW. We'll see you there!
