Essential Aircraft Identification Guide - Aircraft of WWI

Unread post by Colslaw »

I just had a parcel delivered from my publisher and the book I spent all summer (and the previous 20 years) working on is now available.

Hardcover
192 pages
250+ illustrations
ISBN: 978-1-906626-66-2

I have only quickly glanced through it so far, but it looks pretty impressive if I say so myself.

Dang Cole, that looks incredible. I got some guys here in KC that fly replica WWI airplanes, I'll pass this on to them.

Here is a typical two page spread. It was hard to decide just what to show, but since I am pleased with how the Ilya turned out and the text relates to the image and the tables are also typical of those throughout the book, it will do.

One thing I need to mention, it was not our decision to use kW as the measure of power when we all know it was expressed in HP. Sadly that was a nod to the modern buyer who is not versed in correct terminology. Personally I do not understand kW and how it relates, but oh well ....
