I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and am not having any problems...but the more I read about Windows7, the more I want to upgrade my main box.
Every app I use is pretty new with the exception of IL-2 Sturmovik. There IS a Windows XP compatibility mode you can run in...but I would prefer to simply run it.
Anyone doing so? Did you ever have any issues, or did it work straight off?

I too use Win7 and I do not use WinXP compatibility to play IL2. the game works just fine in Win7.
At least you have the option to get the Win7 upgrade, I went from XP to 7 so I had to get the full version.

I do not recommend using the Windows 7 upgrade feature. It was a complete waste of about 30 hours of my life and I'll never get them back. Save yourself the agony and just start from scratch.
