I always had the impression that it was a smaller jet with rear mounted engines.....
So what plane was this? (As in model)

~S to him.
The plane looked alot smaller on the cover of the Post, times, and daily news
Its also interesting because recently i was watching a television show on how hard it is for plane crash survivors to cope with the whole experience. He is going through that as well.

I was parked next to one of these this last Labor Day - those planes are not small.
In fact - I was parked next to one at LaGuardia...we fly out of NYC and in the Hudson area once a year...so taking off and looking out the window to imagine a plane landing safely with all the CRAP around him...pretty amazing job.
