Are you getting that error in any other servers? If not, it might not be your setup...

no, I am not sure what servers run 2.0. I just don't understand why I was able to get on WOW 2-3 times never changing settings and then BAM!!!! crt=2 failed timeout1!

I believe you are using vista so try this post as well if you have not seen it yet...last post sums it up.
I'm hoping in a way you installed into the default location and a simple move of the game folder fixes the problem.
( one can only hope , eh? )

Re: IL-2 1946 disk
Since several of us have had intermittent problems with WoW and not with other servers, logic dictates that there is something wrong with one or more files of the WoW server install that does not match something in the "correct" install.
Tiger, did you get a recent download of the Chief / Map patch installed on the server machine? The timeout=0 error is the same that was fixed with the new Chief / Map patch on servers generally, but it seems that the WoW server is still producing that same error.

I do use vista and have read that topic long ago.
my game path is....C:\games\Ubisoft\IL2 sturmovik 1946 2.0.
everything works great for a few times and then something changes somewhere to cause me to get the (CRT=2 failed timeout1)
I have tried just about everything I could think of and still have problems. None of this ever happened with UP1.8
Just a suggestion but can we keep the WOW 4.09m for us dummies that can't seem to get 2.0 working or are the majority of us able to get into WOW with 2.0?
