Without a doubt we still have men like this in our country/military. It is seldom that we can catch the heroism in a single image.

There are a bunch of heros out there. I'm sure the guy stepping on the burning fuel tank never even gave it a second thought at the moment, But afterwards thought, HOLY CRAP! that could have exploded. :mrgreen:

I disagree. I believe that experience had taught the deckhand that the tank wouldn't explode until it was almost empty. Remember, fuel is not flammable, the fumes are. That's why you can extinguish a match in a bucket of gasoline.
