Now that I have UP1.8 . . . .
Can I install HSFX into UP1.8? . is HSFX4.1 the official one or will there be another ..? and finally, just what mods are required for each event. . SEOW, FS etc etc. .. Ideally they would all just run 1.8.HSFX and let us switch in out instead of having to DL new stuff for each event. . or is that what is happening now?

The UP and HSFX are both collections of mods rather than mods in their own right. In theory all of the mods should be able to go into the same switcher (since it is the same switcher, or were in HSFX 4.0 anyway) but attemps at that have so far ended in failure. Smart peeps will figure it out.

Actually a few of us have been messing with running the HSFX 4.0 mod inside the Ultrapack 1.8 installation. It has so far worked flawlessly...and we did so in a CRT=2 environment.
I have HSFX 4.1 installed now - and last night copied over the folder to my UP 1.8 installation...so I am anxious to try it out. What this could mean is that ONE person could install HSFX...copy the MOD folder it resides in...and drop it to everyone else.
Again - not 100% sure this will always be compatible...but so far it has worked out.
