Good fight Allies, I would say it was a great fight actually. Both sides had skill and it was a war of attrition most of the time.

Great fight indeed. Now we know how hard it was for you guys to gain any ground on the Allied side. That map is definately geared toward the axis and their sniper AAA. Question, you guys got the A-9 but we never saw any 262's. Did you ever get them? Our planeset never really changed, no different aircraft than we had at the beginning. A little disappointing but fun as hell. Oh yeah, getting spawn killed sucks big time. LOL

Me thinks DCG is breathing thinking animal in its own right. I don't think you guys ever got the A-9, so DCG decides I guess, depending on how the battle goes, which new aircraft to introduce. It was surprising actually how the A-9 performed against the Spit. It was the only Axis aircraft to have a positive K/D ratio agaisnt it while externally it looked no different than the A-8. Flying wise, it felt like the A-8 but had better climb and its agility seemed slightly better. Perhaps it was because everyone had learned to fly the FW190 by its introduction and thus more effective utilization when it entered, skewing the numbers slightly. I think the British had jet fighters in use in 1944 except none of them ever met another jet. I wonder if the allies did indeed push far into the map if they would have gotten the British jet.

The Meteor did enter combat, but during 1944 was employed on anti-V1 patrols and it wasn`t until January 1945 that any went over Europe. .. the closest they got to actual combat was just before the end of the war when a flight of Meteors dove on some Fw190s and were bounced by Tempests which mistook them for Me262s. ..

Good job Axis! Was fun indeed, as always. I have to agree with SNA about the DCG being a living, breathing animal but I'm sure over time we might be able to sort it out hehe.

Again, we cant thank the RCAF enough for the some times "overwhelming" participation.
You fellows have a great squadron and have made each WoW campiagn a success but Pol and Franz can both take a hike. :P

Hopefully we can continue to make these campaigns more solid. Always room for improvement. Drops and disconnects are the new hurddles, which should, if we are lucky will be dealt with within the scoring program.

Special thanks to VA and the AKA. Not many of you guys showed up but the ones that did had a huge impact on the campaign and our enjoyment of this Normandy battle!!!!! Thank you very much C2, Jericho, Blasto, Rapier and Deadwood. We hope you enjoyed.

Was great seeing you Twink, I guessing these "full, almost real" settings scared poor little Aaron away?

Fast and furious little map Normandy is, I hope next time the map is a bit bigger. ;)
