This is interesting. For one thing, 25 September happens to be my birthday. Another is that Tex's daughter, Shannon Hill Schaupp, lives in Georgia. When Tex passed, I asked Gary Baker to create this image (below) and send Shannon Hill Schaupp a photograph.



I had seen the image Gary Baker had created for Paul Tibbets upon his passing and thought it would be appropriate. It would be great to meet Shannon in person, and she may even remember the gesture.
