AArgh my stick is dead
The X axis went out yesterday on my X52. Anyone have that happen to theirs, and is there a fix? I think it is in the wiring connection between the throttle and stick; the ps2 cable?
Otherwise, I will be shopping for a new stick.

Mine is still kickin'. I have had the cable mess up from time to time but a simple disconnect and reconnect works. That sucks fred. I hope you get her fixed. Let me know if you find a fix. I have the same stick. Thanks.

Fred,
Looks like Warthog season is now open in Santa Rosa?
I have a CH stick and throttle set I can sell you if you want it? That would be a step up from the X52 IMHO.

I think it is just a problem with ED, just go to the doc and get some Viagra. Just don't play for more than four hours.

Thanks for the offer, Raamon. I had to make a quick decision to get a replacement by Friday. I found a good deal on a scratch and dent X52 pro, new in box, through amazon. If that doesn't work out I will let you know.

Re: AArgh my stick is dead
I think I fixed it. I looked into the ends of the ps2 connector cable and saw some pins that were not quite straight. I reached in with a watch pin tool and straightened them near the base. plugged it back it and bob's yer uncle, it is working again. Pinky switch is still broken, has been for years. I may hold on to this stick as a backup anyway. X52 Pro is due today.
