Downloaded but by first install did not work. trying again when I get home in about 30min.

You dont need to install anything, just download it, put the folder anywhere then run the play-debug.bat file first, then close it down and open the launcher just to adjust the settings to what you want and close that down. Now you run the game through the play.bat file not the launcher. Launcher is just for adjusting settings, not starting the game.
