Map Problem

Have a problem when switching to the in game map.
When I click my map button, instead of the map coming up, I get a bunch of text. Some of which is the briefing you get on the initial map page when entering the server. This is a new development since I have had no problem previously.
It also occurs in single player.

Can someone help me on this or have an answer to the problem?

see below ( I had an accidental post before I was done ) gee that usually only happened when I was young

when you bring up your map right mouse click on it and select normal mode.... then to size the map use your mouse scroll wheel...
you can also select the option to have the basic il2 map function if you llike that one..( IL2 zoom mode )
( clicking with mouse button to resize ) ... if you have il2 zoom mode on click left and right mouse together to get the options to pop up again. A hold down of both mouse buttons will let you move the map around.

I tend to panic when stuff with my installs go wrong and I lose all lucid thought and reason.
The minute I read your post I had a recall . All worked as you said and problem solved.
