Re: Request to be switched to the other side
S!~ Python,
I am curious (as we cats tend to be) about why you would want to make an already usbalanced event more unbalanced. We always have plenty of RCAF. We need more squadrons to oppose them.

I think you may have misunderstood; Judging from the title, he wants to fly for the pink team.

Re: Request to be switched to the other side
We could really use the RAF209 on our team. Of all the past WoW events the RCAF have dominated the server and we need all the pilots we can get to stay up with RCAF. ~S~ Python, I hope you change your mind.

I will give you three reasons
1. After flying numereous times against the RCAF the RAF 209 has not flown on the same side as them.
2.Flying on the otherside against the RCAF there seems to be no organization to how missions or flights are done most usually pilots are left to there own devises.
3. There seems to be a dis-connect between the mix of squadrons flying against the RCAF the AVG's fly together but ignore others on there side leaving say a bomber pilot to defend there own self while a fighter flies on looking for a one on one fight.
Now if you can tell me that there will be some structure to the opisit side of the RCAF some coordinaited flights and interaction then I'm all for that but if I'm left to defend my own bombers by myself then I'm not interested in being a target for the RCAF if you truly want us to stay on the this side then do some planning and put some structure in place and get a cordenation between the mix of squadrons. Look I'm all for staying on this side but I'm tired of being used for target practice.

~S~ Python for this campaign myself and Sr/SL Corsair are the spokesman
for our squad .
In order to answer your request to have you guys flying on our side,we will be glad to do so.
there are some things you must do to ,we will arrange a room on teamspeak where everybody will be thats is participating in the campaign,
secondly we would like you to join us in the training sessions we will have
prior to the actual campaign.
So if you get things squared away ,the best thing would be to come on ts with us and discus things thru.

I will leave this up to Tiger I don't want to ruin this for others and make the sides unfair so I will wait to hear from him.

S!~ Python,
I'll be happy to render a decision, right after you answer my question.

Re: Request to be switched to the other side
I think he wants to switch because our side isn't as "organized" as RCAF... If people would join the WoW TS, i think this might solve your issue Python. AVG is always on the WoW TS when flying in the server. Yet other squads choose not to join the WoW TS. You should join the AVG WoW TS when you fly, you wont be alone. I feel you joining the RCAF side would make the teams completely unbalanced.

have real damn good points.
since wow doesn't have a once a week appointment, a lot of people have an open server mentality, and most of the time, it is what py says, a bunch of fighter jocks flying around looking for one on one
however, if we would take use of red, black, blue, white channels rather than just white and use channel commanders, we would be much more effective, and quite possibly not have our asses used as grass.
I've been hoping/wondering when this was going to be said on the forum, and I'm thankful it has been brought up, and yes, I realize I'm guilty of it too.
That said, I can think of more than one instance in which a member of the raf209 was doing the work I run from (kudos!) got attacked and killed, and were not on comms, leaving others wondering where the action was.
Teamwork, and organization, not individual kills wins a Wings of War campaign, the sooner we apply this, the sooner we will start winning. Which, on the note of individual kills, ideally the goal of a fighter should be to escort bombers to and from target, it is far easier to win by moving the lines than killing off the other teams plane supply.
ve must fight vor the comfy couch
