I was flying a Spit Va in GS tonight, and it seemed to have a massive amount of torque pulling the plane to the right. It was so bad I could not fly a straight path, but was constantly having to adjust by banking right or left. On a lower power setting the effect would be reduced, and with the engine shut off it would fly straight, but my first thought was that my joystick was messed up, and I was going to have to set a large dead zone just to fly. Later in a second sortie, I took a Spit Vb12lbs, and I had no trouble flying it straight. Has anyone else had that experience in that plane? Can it be trimmed to fly straight?

edit: I took the Va up in quick mission builder, and it flew right, so there was something about that one sortie that was very strange.

The spit V is beefed mk!! so still has the light frame with bigger engine so the torque would increse hens the addition of the bigger rudder .

you need at least 5- 7 % may be more on (take offs )oppisite rudder trim to compensate and if the stick you have allows it try the stick trim might help. but its realy a practice thing as well. watch out for wing drops at high speed and low speed turning manouvers as well. You need to work hard with trim on this one its just practice . if you ease the power back on tight turns it might help.
