When I tried to turn on my game tonight, the startup screen came on and the game loaded to 60%, and then it crashed to desktop. The same thing happens every time I try it. It worked fine when I flew in an event Tuesday night, and as far as I know there have been no changes or updates or anything that could have reconfigured the computer in some way. Does anyone have any ideas what could be happening?

Run the update/restore program in the 2.01, probably a mod got corrupted during switching.

Were you in FAW on Tuesday? I loaded those WW1 mods a couple weeks ago and it did not-nice things to my game.

My guess is schwack it left a ghost image of the MODS folder in your game...it does that for some reason, the first time it is activated....

All it requires to fix the problem once it occurs is make sure every thing is on the left in your jgsme switcher....then go into the directory of your game and delete the MODS folder....which may contain a couple of ghost aircraft.....(the real folder is all assembled in the jgsmemods folder)

After that you should not experience any further issues with it....I have been running this patch since before Christmas....never had any trouble in Singapore...

Should be able to switch in and out of the patch only issue is the length of time it takes to activate.


Just read your post....fully.....that is a new one on me...never experienced that one...I would still make sure about the MODS folder and then run the update like trouble said

Thanks everyone, I followed that and got the game to load again.

60% crash is a button files crash there is an FM that didnt load properly to fix this backup your mods folder then update and restore
