I don't see the AVG moving completely to CoD for some time. The original IL-2 series still has much to offer. I think what we'll see is that those who can get it, will get it and we fly as the AVG together when we do and we will get involved and or create events for for this new sim. But we will also maintaian our pressence here in the original series while it is still in use.

I Just got off of the phone with ubisoft. I had a misunderstanding about my order being cancelled. I was not and I was able to find out that IL-2 Cliffs of Dover will be released on April 11 2011. So we finally have a release date guys. Just wanted to let everyone know the date for those of you that have pre ordered like I did.

We should just have a presence here and there some who already have a machine capable of running the new game usher in the new guys when they're ready to fly over there.

We already have somewhat established multiple- sub clans of =AVG= in other various games/sims. E.g, Microsoft FSX, Company Of heroes Online, Call Of Duty, etc...

So we can spread out a bit, just note that primarily the =AVG= is a flight sim Group in the WWII/Vietnam/Modern flight sims and our Primary Sim is the IL-2 Sturmovik Series.

As far as a computer, I obviously need another one soon by the pictures I've posted on another thread, so I don't the next one has to be better of course.

I know I have not been as active the past few weeks, as I have in the past, but when did this happen??? =AVG= FSX? =AVG= COH, =AVG= COD??

Those of us that fly SEOW did a little gaming in Korea as testing for a campaign there, but no Vietnam. That was delayed until the next version of HSFX comes out, and then I think we are going to resume the Korea war with jets and whatnot.

We are getting ready to start the Stalingrad campaign flying for Russia with 69GiaP and DD guys, and are having a hoot of a good time. All are welcome of course! Thursdays.

MAY 24th! Come the hell on already. This is getting old. and of course they don't send you any updates you have to find them.
