Ok, reinstalled game 4.08 worked
installed 4.09 loads then movie starts cant esc,options screen comes up no use of mouse or keyboard
installed 2.01 crashes at 5% on splash screen

Am tempted to recommend opening up the JSGME and hit the UPDATE/REPAIR button and see if that does the trick, but that will take you straight to 4.10 if it works. Not everything is 4.10 yet, but it appears all are going there eventually.

He should be ok if he does that. 4.10 is just a mod you select like all the others in the JSGME. no big deal. Emil did you install the SAS D2D patch? with your install being a download you may need to install tat patch. Just an idea. anyway try running the Ultrapack update and restore. it may fix it all. Let us know how it goes.
