Just as a matter of conversation.
I was a Flight Engineer during my stay in the USAF and accrued around 25000 hours in the B29. I was the guy facing backward with the big instrument panel. Our mission durations were usually 12 to 16 hours long and in those days we had no second Flight Engineer aboard.
