Problem with Battle of Britain
I've spent the last three hours trying to fly the BoB map and when I can get it in it is great however there are the following problems noted
When the map rolls I select my airfield, aircraft and hit fly .. the game then locks up and I have to reboot. Sometimes on the reboot it locks up again when the map screen appears, it has also done so in the midst of a dogfight with Yoke.
I had the same problem with trying other exe files. . my game locks up, so I am now using the three basic mods and sometimes with Effects Low
Observations on plane set. .
- there are no 109s at any of the bases on any of the three cycles I have been in.
- There is no Bf110C-4/B with the bomb option
- there are no Ju87s
In addition to the above, Yoke was having problems with not seeing any AAA despite having settings at high, but I could see it firing at him.
Fingers crossed this can be corrected as the map itself is so cool .. I have attacked Ramsgate, bombed a bridge, bombed Canterbury Cathedral, attacked a chain home station and buzzed Yoke in his chute over Calais. . all very neat to see.

Unfortunately, I've had even worse lockup problems; I get to the map room, and game locks up solid like rock and I am inventing new swear words at my computer and ISP. Champing at the bit I am to fly this one.

Three more tries to get in. . first two locked up on the initial map screen, third time I got in and selected a Spitfire and was flying over London with fps of 17-30 and then locked up when I banked over Big Ben.
Sadly it seems a whole lot of objects will need to be removed to make the game playable

S!~ Sir,
Thank you for the observations. This is precisely what I need to get the thing working properly for March.

Re: Problem with Battle of Britain
The Map problem, is wide spread and not limited to the WoW server. The BoB and Korean Peninsula maps are known for causing so much process and resource consumption, possibly due to their vast size or perhaps default objects already placed on the map. Even the map itself in great detail maybe the cause of the lockups.
I've had the problem and noted that these two specific maps have something in them that causes it to take up so much memory. Not sure exactly if that isolated the problem for a solution but that's to something to note.

Re: Problem with Battle of Britain
The map just rolled and once again I got a game freeze that I can only get out of by restarting the computer. Yoke is still having his troubles with not seeing AAA
It probably is just the sheer number of objects in the game. Flying over London the number of things there was staggering.

Re: Problem with Battle of Britain
110's were used for escorting bombers in BoB, unfortunately the were out preformed by Spits and Hurris that the Germans started sending 109s to escort the escorts for the bombers. 109s didn't have the range of the 110s and could only stay over the Isles for a short time before they had to go home.
We should have Hurricanes, Spitfires, Blenheims 110s, 109s, He111, Ju88s, Ju87s, You could also throw in some Gladiators, Cr42s, Italian bombers
