My sidewinder 2 has failed me I can still use it for the time being, but buttons are fixing to go

I like the stick, and wouldnt mind another, unless there are any other suggestions

I love the Logitech 3DXtreme Pro. .. good feel, comfortable, lots of buttons. Downside is it will fail, so best to get a free replacement warranty if it is offered. . I think I got 5-7 replacements in the three years the warranty lasted

The Saitek ST290Pro is a decent budget stick. It is only about $20 and is quite durable. No special features other than can be set up southpaws. The throttle bar is a bit larger than normal, but is stiff so not bad and easy to get used to.

I use Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X .. not alot of $ and it works fine for me .

I will toss it out there...

CH Products are great. They are pricey...but I have never had one fail me - and you can do anything with em.

I use the Thrustmaster T.Flight Stick X HOTAS, it only cost me $37.99 a good deal for a more detailed stick. Detachable throttle 12 programmable buttons for more use from you stick. I have an extra axis I use for rudder trim. So me and YOKE are into Thrustmaster Sticks. Which one will you choose?

does it have twist rudder?
are the springs really soft?

spring tension for handle on my type is adjustable from a screw under base ...adjust stick to your preference...nice feature

I use the Saitek AV8R-01. I have had it for about 2-2 1/2 yrs and it is still truckin. it started stiffening up but i figured out where i needed to lube it at and is like new again. lots of buttons and twist rudder. only downside is the throttle is on the back side of the joystick. you can get used to it after a while.JMO

Yep the same rudder twist axis along with the adjustable joystick resistance at the bottom and don't forget I also have the extra Axis for rudder trim. It's on the back side of the throttle. Just press it left or right depending on how much pressure you give it and that acts my Rudder trim.

If your new to thrustmaster I recomend the one YOKE has, the T.Flight Stick X

Your gonna want to get the comfortable feel for the basic one before just going onto the advance one, however if you feel you can handle the HOTAS, go for it!

Both of these sticks also are compatible with the PS3 in case you ever decide you need to show off your skills to a console player.
