LOL Decker. I remember going through Joint-Ops APS class and I had aced pretty much everything in the class even to the issue that I had enough points...... that I didnt even have to take the final test flight. Everything in the class built up to this bad weather IFR flight at night. Well I still took it just to show off how great I was and everyone was watchin..............................

I take off right into a cloud and at 500 feet, I already reached my waypoint 1, left turn about 60* in route to St. Gatain. I have done this tons of times in practice.......... Im good to go. Wife walks in, ask me a question and touches me on the shoulder........ I look away for 1 second and Im in a free fall out of no where, every nav guage is spinning all kinds of crazy and BOOM. My pride enveloped by the explosion.
