I have been sparse since my departure, a few fellas took it personally, but I am glad to say my 1sq mates have all stayed in touch and it is still great to see you guys flying with/against me. Wanted to absolutely say hello to Big Fred and BigO - I spent so much time flying with you guys I am sure I could fall into formation behind you in about 3 minutes and be right at home.
Tiger - I thought of you, Fred, and BigO this morning. My wife and I are in Napa, CA on a short vacation, and she surprised me BIG time with a flight in a P-40 two-seater. This was not an AVG aircraft...but it was based in Australia and New Guinea. I landed about an hour ago or so...already posted at JG5 but wanted my mates here to enjoy it as well.
That's me in the orange cap. Will post more later...but just wanted to say hello and let you know AVG was on my mind this morning at 2000' !!

You know every time I fly Ghost Skies I half expect to look over and see you flying formation with Big_Fred and I (of course this means I am about to die, from one of your devastating convergence shots, but it would still be good to see you in formation again)
I really don't think there is any hard feelings over here in the =AVG= membership. You were a great contributor to our group, when you were a member, and you are sorely misssed. You are always welcome on the =AVG= TS and in the Wings of War Campaigns.
We do laugh that you went to fly more 109's and ended up flying Allied aircraft in GS....
