Wings~of~War: Normandy 1944 DCG Beta Test

Unread post by Tiger »

S!~ All,

Lowengrin has the latest version of the DCG in Beta (version 3.46). This version supports Zuti MDS. I am currently testing the new version on the Wings~of~War server with outside views enabled. I am running Normandy 1944 again, but this time with moving vehicles. Here's an excerpt from the Readme.txt file;

"Added code to create basic "Moving Dogfight Server" (MDS) missions. To activate, set the MDS dropdown box to "Yes" on the "Dogfight Server Settings" panel. Tweaked CAP chances for AI squadrons located with player's squadron. Fixed settings for IL2SC. Fixed allegiance of default Polish squadron. Fixed respawning ship bug. Fixed log path issue (when the eventlog parameter contained both a path and a file name). Increased aircraft name sizes to 35 in the class.dcg, allpayloads.dcg and payloads.dcg files. Old files will automatically be modified to the new sizes when first used by DCG."

The server is now running on IL2 Server Commander, and the password is still Neptune. The death kick is off, and the MODS used are also the same as they were for the campaign;

Ultra Pack 2.01
00_6DOF_Tracker_2_0_sHr
01_TougherBridges
01_Zuti_MDS_v1.13_UP

Please feel free to connect to the server and have a look around.

There was an error when I was running the server with IL2 Server Commander, so I have switched back to FB Daemon II. And, it appears to be working. If anyone gets the chance, please check the server to see if there are moving vehicles.

I am pretty much an expert in both DCG and the parser.
If you need a hand with this please let me know I welcome the chance to help out.
I rather enjoy this end of IL-2
So do not hesitate to call on me in an AVG capacity.
I again salute you and AVG on all your wings of war efforts, My self and all RS had a great time in the last event, hats off to RAF that gave us TS and wing support.
Salute RAF, well done and what a heck of a team we made.

I am working on the problem as well, or should I say me and Bozo both are since I don't have FBdameon on my comp. I generate the files fly them on my comp and seee what works and what don't then i send the files to Bozo so he can tweak them and us the toys that you all seem to have sept me :? . If i can figure out why its not generating from the original map to the next and run correctly I will pass it along. ~S~ Blood out

S!~ All,

I am now testing North Africa 1943. The password is Test. Everything else is the same (i.e. MODS).
