Hey guys!
My trip to Germany has morphed into a stay in Germany for an undetermined amount of time. I am getting all the stuff I need to find a job here. I will be here for another month or so at least.
I went to the Luftwaffen Museum http://www.luftwaffenmuseum.com/index.p ... 78&lang=en in Gatow last week. Nice place! Unfortunately, there was so much snow on the ground that i didn't get to nearly as many exhibits as I wanted to. They had lots of jet aircraft outside, but they were covered in snow and not good for taking pictures. Plus it was damn cold. The museum was supposed to have an ME-262 and an FW190 A-8 but the Me-262 was out on exhibition at another museum and the FW-190 is still being restored. Here are some pics that might interest you guys.

I wonder if that F-86 on the front page of your first link was actually Erich Hartmann's aircraft after he re-upped into the West German Air Force. The Black Tulip on the nose is one of his sigils.
